What are the differences in handle styles?

KNIPEX offers a variety of handle types.

Plastic Dipped - smooth, red handle.

Non-Slip Plastic - slightly texturized, red handle.

Bare - black atramentized handle.

KNIPEXTEND handle system - tri-color handle: gray (textured surface for greater grip and control), blue (soft component for added comfort), and red (high strength for maximum durability) with two slots at the bottom of the handle to insert ColorCoded or TetheredTool Clips.

Multi-Component - smooth, red & blue handle. NOTE: many of the tools in this handle style are transitioning to the KNIPEXTEND handle system. Part numbers of transitioned tools will remain the same.
